Mobility Improving Qigong movements are slow but with the application of the so called ‘inner strength’ that is compared to flood (ie the ‘slow water’) that takes away a bridge or a house in one go while the fast movements that lack this sort of strength are compared to waves that look powerful on the outside (as they crash into the shore with force) but even after hundreds of years do little change. Practically speaking those special slow movements can separate tissues grown together around an injured joint (due to inactivity over time) and as a result make them mobile again or, at least, less restricted. |
